About the project
A web configurator where the car takes centre stage: a detailed 3D model set in a virtual studio with a grid floor, soft lighting and reflections that run along the body as you turn it. Everything runs in the browser, nothing to install.
Three preset cameras take the eye where it matters: a panoramic view to tour the whole car, a front view, and a view from the driver's seat with the dashboard, the steering wheel and the rear-view mirror up close. The moves between cameras are continuous, never a cut.
A colour picker repaints the body instantly, and a settings panel tunes the scene live. The aim was to see how far a web configurator can go with React Three Fiber: product-presentation quality with the instant response of an app.
